The name Saint Emillion
conjures up the taste of rich red wines, but the town is worth a visit in itself. Elegant and cozy, it has lots of cobbled

The town of Cognac - famous for .....well you know
that part.
You can visit the manufacturers Hennessy in Cognac itself or Courvoisier
at Jarnac (8 miles before Cognac).
Discover the secrets of this famous Chateau. Guided tours in period
costume available in the Chateau De Francois 1st (April to October.)

Family day out. Parc Aquarium in Le Bugue. By the touch-pools, you can
help to feed all the fish. There are tropical fish, local species and predator sections. Snack bar during summer months.

Available in many places including Riberac, Aubeterre, Brantome and Tocane St Apres and in many areas all along the River Dronne. The routes
are all downstream and its possible to have a minibus to either take you to the
starting point or collect you from the finishing point.
