Local info
For cooling off in summer there are many places to swim,
canoe/kayak or take boat trips on the river. At nearby Lake Jamaye
you can swim from a sandy beach, picnic, or watch the birds and wild tortoises at the special hides and viewpoints. The
local landscape is dotted with pretty villages surrounded by vineyards, cornfields and, in high summer, fields of bright yellow
sunflowers. Riberac has a wonderful Friday market and, in July and August there are evening markets which take over the main
streets of the town.

Nearby Brantome

and cafes to relax in. The elegant city of Bordeaux is around an hour away on the A89, but dont forget
